I dropped into this dance very unexpectedly, after waking up late for a morning yoga class at Esalen in the fall of 2000. The rest, as they say, is history. I was very fortunate to have been able to dance in New York City, where my main teacher was Jonathan Horan. Every now and then, Gabrielle would sub for Jonathan as well, which was an amazing treat as well! It was my pleasure to be able to dance with her as long as I did. It is now my pleasure to offer classes in NYC and Long Island, and even to sub for Jonny himself from time to time. It is my belief that there are things that can only be known by dancing them.
