What are the 5Rhythms?
5Rhythms is a healing movement meditation and dynamic movement practice—a practice of being in the body—that ignites creativity, connection, and community.
5Rhythms can be experienced by anyone regardless of their physical limitations. There are no specific moves to learn and dancers can participate at their own pace, within their own capacity to move. Chairs are provided in the space for those that need them.
No experience is needed - beginners are welcome!
A session lasts just under 2 hours accompanied by facilitation and music of different rhythms and tempos.
Tickets are available on bookwhen only and need to be booked by 5pm on the day of the dance. No one is turned away for lack of financial resource - pls get in touch if you need additional support to attend and we will find a creative solution.

Recent testimonials about the practice:
"...The effect it had on my mental wellbeing was profound. I learned to be present with my emotions in a way that was truly healing, as I was able to physically move them, dance with them and express them in a way that wasn't possible through talking therapy..."
"....a powerful contribution to my joy and healing over the last months and years..."
"I appreciated the warmth of your acceptance and welcome, and the space you gave everyone to be ok with low energy - encouraging us to be gentle with ourselves. While still facilitating highly energetic opportunities for those of us who love that."
On the new dance space:
"I loved the new venue...It's spacious and has a dance studio floor for rolling around on. Easy to get to on train via Blackfriars, Southwark or Waterloo...There's even a shower if you arrive in need. Can't wait to go again!"
"Dancing on a sprung dance floor meant no aches or pains the next day!!!"
"The studio is spacious and a comfortable space where I can easily focus on my dance."
"Comfortable dancefloor...great sound system, and lots of space to move in."
