When Gabrielle founded The Moving Center in 1977, it was just her, her vinyl records, and a desire to move every body in New York City.
Her vision was wild and mysterious – an invitation to an embodied investigation into the moving center deep within each and every one of us, far below the busy surface of our every day life.
A space where the darkness of our souls has the freedom to be seen, to be met, to be released, to be loved.
A place where the light of our being has the passion to be celebrated.
A space where the edges of our daily practice could shift towards our center, and new edges found again and again and again.
A place where our feet speak 10,000 stories that our mind could never tell.
