If you haven't seen Jewel perform her poetry, Friday evening is your opportunity. Jewel and Amber will be joined by Trinidad transplant Sanga-of-the-Valley, high holy king of the vibe on percussion and the mesmerizing Dancer/Photographer Nilaya Sabnis.

Using the lens of the 5Rhythms practice, Jewel and Amber will inspire you with practical and magical ways to find your fullest voice….and maybe blow your mind. In this weekend long exploration, we will court the mystery with movement, spoken word and ritual theatre. Word~Dance is an invitation to be deeply danced, to pour yourself to the page and stand in the fierce, alchemical power of your authentic voice. It's a Dance to the bone and hone the voice weekend playshop for anyone with a desire to ignite full bodied creative energy and move it into the world. Non-writers and writers with fear of writer's block will always have a music backdrop during writing time, so if words aren't flowing you still can.
Amber is healing artist with an embodiment and articulation of the 5Rhythms movement meditation practice that inspires depth and expansion. Her musical journey deliver us into the heart and soul of our own beat. She studied with Gabrielle Roth inNYC for 10 years, served on Gabrielle's first 5 Rhythms Reach Out for Kids, and is on the annual staff of Omega's program at Blue Spirit in Nosara, Costa Rica.
