Dancers are welcome to attend for one day on Saturday or both days for a fuller experience.
Over these two days we will dance with Gabrielle's maps of the body and of the heart. Saturday counts as a one day 'Waves' and Sunday as one day 'Heartbeat' for the 5RTT.
In this workshop we will explore how to find the 'Sweet Spot' in the dance and in our life. Day one will work through 'Waves' level in the body and day two on 'Heartbeat' level of emotions through the embodied heart.
We can spend a lot of our time and energy in life trying too hard or holding back. Resisting or pushing. Yet there is a place within us all where body, heart, mind and emotions are in harmony and balance and we find ease and flow. I call this the Sweet Spot. We can track this through our dance, through all of the rhythms, through our body and emotional states. When we come close to this place we may well tap into our passion and power, we may find ease, grace and pleasure. Whatever we encounter, if we keep exploring, allowing and welcoming our true dance beyond the struggles and resistance, we may encounter the Sweet Spot and embody our life again with fullness and presence, with energy, ease and joy. The 5Rhythms practice guides us to a deeper intuitive embodiment, feeling our way and freeing the heart, allowing us to mindfully attune our whole system and find a more balanced and harmonious Sweet Spot in the midst of all our movements.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
