DESCRIPTION
Celebrating Summer Solstice with 5Rhythms dance and ceremony in a beautiful garden in Mosfellsdalur, in the outskirts of Reykjavik.With Sigurborg Kr. Hannesdottir and Johanna B. Magnusdottir.
At Summer Solstice when the day is the longest and the night shortest and the gifts of Earth in full bloom, we dance and create a ceremony in honour of the earth godess and light.
We enjoy the power of summer to the fullest, before it withdraws and autumn and winter sets in.
Dalsa is a unique place, the home and sacred place of Johanna. We dance by open fire, surrounded by trees, hear the running river, feel the energy of the earth and the wind on our faces.
Afterwards we enjoy nourishment that all the participants bring to share(potluck). This, of course is optional.
