DESCRIPTION
We dance for joy and well-being, yet the physicality of our movements can stress the body in harmful ways. Dancers often mention trouble with their hips, knees, feet, back, neck, and shoulders. This day is devoted to developing skillful ways to keep our bodies in motion with support and fluidity. We will use balls, rollers, asana and 5Rhythms practice to make real changes in muscle and fascia. Instead of pushing through pain, we will tend to our bodies both before and as we dance. These easy skills offer long-term health on and off the dance floor.

Bella Driezler is a physical therapist with 40+ years experience. She is a 5Rhythms and yoga instructor in Sacramento, California. Her specialty is connective tissue release that keeps the body flexible and supple. At 60+ she enjoys a wild and free dance.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
