Evening Honouring Ritual with live musicIn many cultures and traditions, ceremonies and rituals are held to honour the ancestors during Hallowe’en, Samhain and The Day of the Dead. Marked as a time when the veil thins between the worlds of the living and that of the dead, our ability to communicate and sense the Unseen becomes easier. Marcia’s annual event is a sacred ritual for community to come together in recognition and celebration of the ancestors.
The ceremony allows us to acknowledge those that have laid the path before us. We seek and listen to the wisdom of the ancient ones, no matter what physical form they had during their lifespan. We can also ask for support and guidance while setting intentions for healing our personal ancestral lineages.
Marcia welcomes you to a movement-based ceremony based on the 5Rhythms® conscious movement practice. David Yates will provide a luscious soundscape as we meditate and move our bodies.
The evening ritual is an alchemy of intention, contemplation, movement & journeying to alternate realities and sharing our joy & gratitude with each other.
Ceremony is suitable for ages 16+
NOTES
Our ceremony will be held on Zoom at 6:30 - 8:30 PM Pacific Time (Vancouver, BC)
LATE COMERS past 6:45 will not be admitted for security reasons.
