In connection with our body, we unfold the 5 Rhythms - ๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ - and the principles the rhythms carry with them: ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐.
We let our body and mind explore both inner and outer spaces, to become aware of; ๐พ๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ โฆ..๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐๐?

Our movement in the dance space is our daily ritual and a way to "tune" body and mind. The form of the ritual invites you to step in with a heightened awareness. A return to the same space. A form and method, as a point of reference, which creates stability and a freedom to transcend old patterns and bring us deeper into the dance โ and home to ourselves.
Not for the sake of the ritual, but to set life in motion - not only the life that is, or lies in front of us, but also what has been lived. In the repeated dance we connect to the present. Leaning into the stillness that the now brings with it, and from there we expand our way of being in life. The stillness tells us that life hold us - regardless of our own "weather forecast"๐

Although the dance is the main element, the retreat is structed on an interweaving of different contexts. We search for spaces that call for presence and commitment - whether itโs in dance, in nature, song, artistic expression, work, silence - and weave them together so that our dance comes to life in other contexts and other contexts give life to the dance.
We can transform something with our dance, with words, with song/sound and with other forms of expression. And create access to new spaces within us and more space.
No retreats are alike. There is a transition where a "new narrative" is created. Where new life and commitment must fill the spaces - inner as well as outer.

The community is very central in those days. We are not just there to find the power in own space. The retreat finds special inspiration in how to create the good community, where everyone contributes actively, regardless of whether it's in your dance or your daily task.

To make the retreat as accessible, to as many people as possible, the price is low. This can be done because the facilities of Lyngborg aren't luxury. The accommodation is more in the hostel category.
Emphasis is placed on having good facilities for the dance and resources in creating a good program that can promote a rewarding process - less luxury but more effect ๐
The camp is functioning by the help of the group. That means that you have a task every day: breakfast, lunch, dinner, washing up or cleaning - approx. 1 hour duration. But it's not just about the price. It is on purpose that the retreat is based on active co-responsibility. The good communities arise more often arise where we ourselves have a share in the creation.

Lyngborgen is located on a large natural plot of 60,000 m2 and approx. 500 m from a beautiful beach in the bay of Sejerรธ.
There is a small natural forest on the plot, soccer field, volleyball court, basket net, playground and campfire. Lyngborgen borders a beautiful and protected nature area, and this area are the only one between Lyngborgen and the beach (see photos in the event).
The camp contains a large and separate pyramid-shaped space with wooden floor.
The beds are divided into double rooms, 4-, 6-, 8- and 10-person rooms. Therefore, you must be confident with sleeping with others, of the same gender, unless you come in a group, with a number - 4, 6 and 8 persons - that fits in the rooms.
It's possible to buy a single room and a bed in a double room and cabins.

Before joining the retreat, make sure you want to participate in the dance every day. You must also agree upon that alcohol is not consumed in the camp. When this is emphasized, it's about maintaining the clarity and presence that the dance creates with the other activities and thereby get the full effect of the activities.
You are so welcome to write or call: mail@briankjoeller.dk, messenger (Brian Kjรธller Olsen) or telephone: +45 40359717. If you want more information or need some specific clarification.

๐ช๐๐ข ๐๐ฆ ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ทรธ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ?
I have a โค๏ธ that beats for dance. Dance has followed me since I started, as a 3-year-old, at Ulla Poulsen's dance school in Ringsted๐ . My interest in body and movement started with my yoga and meditation practice when I was in my early twenties.
I became a yoga teacher in 2005 and have practiced 5Rhythms dance since 2007. I have taught improvised dance in my own concept - Nuets Dans - since 2015 and have since become a 5Rhythms teacher.
I am also a psychologist and have my own practice. I have worked clinically, i.a. with therapy and supervision, since 2005.
In recent years, I have been very busy developing methods where the body and movement are actively used in therapy.
I attended my first retreat at the age of 26 and have since participated in many different retreats. My own experiences, both good and bad, help to create the framework for the stay.
Over the past 10 years I have organized many different camps and retreats and my โค๏ธ also beats for what we can create together.
My own training and teaching can be summarized as a training in; "being with what there is", regardless of whether it is in dance, therapy, meditation, yoga or another form of practice. This is what I strive for in my own life and try to pass on. My daily life is in Vesterbro, in Copenhagen, with my 17-year-old son.
