“I believe the night I’ve never met
hides one elusive star I need
to divide me between darkness and light”
― Munia Khan
'Meeting at the Edge' is an invitation to expand from our own edges and explore the landscape of human relationships.
Meeting can be edgy and full of potential to take us to the next steps.
In this workshop we’ll explore the layers of the relationship terrain: fertile jungle and arid plains, mountain tops and valleys, rocky cliffs and quick sands, glaciers and hot springs.
We’ll be using the 5Rhythms map to discover and navigate our familiar movement patterns in relationships. From there we’ll tenderly enrich and refine our options as we meet with ourselves, another and the ensemble.
This workshop provides a unique opportunity to experience your dance through three different teachers' practices. Whether you are a beginner on the dancing path or you’re already an experienced dancer, you'll be encouraged to be curious about your next steps both on and off the dance floor.
This workshop fulfills 3 days of Waves prerequisites on the teacher training path.
Everyone welcomed, no experience needed.
