»Medicine Dance« is a deep exploration of the physicality of our practice, the 5Rhythms. We want to free our body because we want to feel more alive. We wish to express our heart, because it is our desire to be straightforward and clear when interacting with the world. We need to empty our mind so it can become a vessel for new ideas and inspiration. We call in our soul to be our guiding light on our journey through the uncharted territory of our life. We open ourselves to the spirit, searching for this precious, fine, ever so strong thread that connects us with all there is, deep down below, up here, and way above.For participating in this workshop no prerequisites are needed other than the willingness to move. »Movement is my medicine, my method, my metaphor,« Gabrielle Roth said. I love this statement. I live by it. It holds true, especially when we're getting older. Our movement is changing all the time as it does change ourselves in so many ways.
