DESCRIPTION
Gabrielle Roth wrote an entire book on ecstasy and how to get there through the map of the 5Rhythms. Contrary to popular belief, ecstasy is not just confined to the rhythm of Lyrical or Chaos, but can be found in all of the rhythms individually, and when danced as a Wave. In this 2-day workshop, we will explore the gateways to ecstasy through each and all of the rhythms.ABOUT IREM LUQMAN?
Irem has Pakistani roots, was born in London, and now lives in Oxford where she holds weekly
5Rhythms classes. Her obsession with dance began as a child when she discovered that the body could express so much more than words alone, but it was only once she had found the 5Rhythms that she realised the full potential of this expression. In 2015, Irem trained as a 5Rhythms Spaceholder which allowed her to hold regular Sweats in Reading and Guildford, UK, until finally becoming an accredited teacher in 2021.
TIME:
Saturday, 15th June - 11am to 5pm
Sunday, 16th June - 11am to 5pm
This workshop counts as 10 hours of Waves towards the teacher training prerequisites.
