A life which flows and where you feel welcome in your own skin?
And do you long to perceive yourself as lovable and worthy?
Healthy self-love is like a ripple in a lake, is starts around you and overflows to others. But is has to start with yourself. Healthy self-love differs from pride. Pride can inflate the ego. Healthy self-love fuels your true self, which is naturally generous and respectful towards others.
In this workshop, we will take time to explore ways how we can start loving ourselves again.
We, when we are born, are naturally included in love.
When we are children, we interpret many signals as messages of not being worthy of love. When we grow older, we keep perceiving ourselves in the same way. This view usually leads to self-condemnation and a constant urge to try to be better. We’re never good enough.
When we take time to relax this structure in who we are, we start to perceive ourselves differently. We start to feel worthy of love and care. Once we start seeing ourselves with different eyes, we can start to feel love and compassion for who and how we are.
And from there our love naturally flows towards others. But not before we love ourselves, we can really love others.
Cultivating self-love is about getting to know ourselves and expressing ourselves, about giving us our own attention and tenderness.
Our bodies can teach us where we hold back to embrace our selves and how to open again towards this life-flow of love.
Through the 5rhythms we discover ways to open towards self-love. We can learn how to express what is important to us, to release and let go of feelings that do not serve us anymore. We can blossom and flourish and be more loving towards ourselves.
