Ecstatic Soul is a journey and it is a state of being 

Ecstatic Soul is a state of being, when body, heart and mind are aligned in conscious awareness and aliveness. We can go there through dancing the 5Rhythms. True ecstasy is not a fleeting moment of euphoria, it is the pleasure and the pain, the tears and the joys, the mundane and the down right funky – a state of being in authentic embodied movement. 

Our journey is a series of 5Hour Saturday daytime workshops and two longer weekend workshops throughout 2019. They are stand alone events or you can take the whole or part of the journey with us. 

Each 5Hour workshop will be co-facilitated by Nikki and Ajay. It will have a theme, which we will explore through the 5Rhythms and other embodiment tools. There will be a break, and plenty of time to take this through a longer dance – you are encouraged to go at your own pace. 

The weekend workshops will take you on a deeper exploration of the 5Rhythms: Ecstatic Body in July with Nikki & Ecstatic Spirit in November with Ajay Beginners and experienced dancers are equally welcome in all Ecstatic Soul journeys.

Nikki Ashley and Ajay Rajani are accredited 5Rhythms teachers and members of 5RTA. They trained together with Jonathan Horan, son of Gabrielle Roth, in 2014. They have been studying closely under Christian de Sousa for the past 8 years and are aligned in the same passion to cultivate a rich and dynamic community in London. 

These workshops  will count towards the 5Rhythms Teacher Training Waves prerequisites.
