DESCRIPTION

Dancing the 5Rhythms® Wave and tuning into the elements for each rhythm we will cultivate an embodied knowing and relationship with them. We will dance on the earth, with the winds and waters, with the ember and flame of fire and etheric parts of ourselves that shine from your deepest core.

These elements move in our bones, just as they danced in the bodies of our ancestors. There is a primal connection to them as our allies to lean into and call on as we move through life.

Gabrielle said, between the head and the feet of any given person is a billion miles of unexplored wilderness.

We will explore this wild territory, dancing the dances that bring us back home to the to the nature of who we are and nurturing that wilderness with movement, time in nature, art and community.

NOTES

When: Begins Friday evening June 21st at 7pm

Completes Wednesday June 26th at 4pm

Where: Neskowin Oregon, Sacred Elk Retreat Center - address given with registration

Cost: $425 plus accommodations

Accommodations: There are 10 onsite camping spaces available with a shared outdoor kitchen, 2 indoor and outdoor showers and toilets and a hot tub. There are also vacation rentals near by to share with other dancers, contact Adrienne Lee with any questions and to assist you in connecting with retreat housemates.

The onsite camping cost is $130 for 5 nights

Refund Policy

Cancellation Policy for Workshops

60 days in advance: $50 cancellation fee applied. 31-60 days, 50% refund. No refunds can be issued less than 31 days from the start of a workshop but your space can be gifted to another.

Gorge 5Rhythms reserves the right to cancel any workshop in the event of insufficient registration or other unforeseen circumstances, in which case, the full amount paid to register for a workshop will be refunded to the registrants. In the event of cancellation, an attempt will be made to notify registrants no later than 10 calendar days before the start of the workshop. All other expenses incurred including but not limited to flights and accommodation arranged for the purpose of attending a workshop will not be covered.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
PREREQUISITES: No prerequisites required.
