Join Ruth Hirst for a soulful three‑hour Winter Solstice immersion of 5Rhythms dance, weaving circles of energy, grounding with Pachamama, and flowing into spirit. Together we’ll journey through rhythm and ritual, moving deeper into alignment, and closing with a nourishing sound bath to restore and realign.

EVENT DESCRIPTION: 

"Both light and shadow are the dance of love" Rumi

The dance will include a blindfolded wave, where we will surrender to rhythm, breath and intution. Blindfolded movement invites an inner journey - a choice to explore the unseen currents and discover new layers of embodiment.

This is an opportunity to go deeper into the 5Rhythms -beyond Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness, but listening for how these rhythms live within us at the threshold where darkness peaks and the light begins to grow again.

Using a blindfold is completely optional - you can choose to dance with eyes closed or open.

Your comfort and safety come first: please honour what feels right for you in the moment.

In this ritual we will call forth our wildness - the untamed, essential part of ourselves that longs to move freely, beyond conditioning. Through dance we return to the essence, reconnecting with the rawpulse of life that carries us back into alignment.

We will explore the light, the dark, and their balance through ritual. The dance will carry us through what is ready to be released and what is ready to be born.

The journey will close with sound bath, fusing vibration and resonance to integrate the dance into body, heart, and spirit.
