It was the summer of 2002. I went to the library, looking around for something, feeding my hungry heart and soul. The book literally fell on me: Maps of Ecstacy. I read the first lines, four questiones, which changed my life: When was last time you danced? When did you sing? When was the last time you got enchanted by a story? When was the last time, you found comfort in the healing space of stillness? I felt the tears running down my face....I devoured the book, bought instantly a cd and started exploring the 5 Rhythms on my own, in this slightly morbid, dark and cold, two centuries old fort, which was our theater rehearsal space at that time. Looking back, it couldn't have been a better birthplace! One year later I attended my first class. The many dances I danced since then, melted layer after layer. I love to get carried away, loosing and finding myself; again and again. In the dance I know who I am. And I'm not done yet!
