Notes from the theatre wing:The beauty of our 5R practice from a theatre prospective is having the opportunity to reflect life, absorbing every morsel of its offering and gifting it back to the dance over and over again.
In living this practice as artists we embody the rhythms through every breath we take, through every offering we make. Each gesture being an extension from our body, heart, mind, soul and spirit. A POETIC landscape of offering. A free fall, a footfall, a live response to what is happening in us around us and universally.
As artists we manifest change offering ourselves and our stories from that Live Wire place deep inside our creative centre; that ELECTRIC landscape of unpredictable possibility that lives and breathes inside our bones.
Evoking a creative way of seeing and experiencing life from the artistic nature of the body is the place I want to live and breathe in and out of forever.

Live Wire: 5Rhythms Ritual Theatre Lab

The spirit may be willing but the flesh and voice are sometimes tongue-tied. Yet the spirit longs to break the silence and speak from the deepest Live Wire place within us. What words express your current state of being? How does the voice move within the shapes of the body? How do those physical shapes breathe? In this workshop we will create a stage for the spirit within to manifest. Theatrical. Articulate.
An embodied language that expands our creative potential and opens the door of those voices within, articulating all our bodies have to offer.
Live Wire is an embodied ritual theatre investigation, grounded in the movement maps of 5Rhythms®, devoted to the shapeshifting nature of physical art, and guided by the vision of Lorca Simons and Gabrielle Roth and Martha Peabody. Designed to inspire, refresh, re-set and connect. Our time will include movement, creative excavations, collective truth-telling and beauty-making.
All are welcome to join. No prior dance or 5Rhythms experience is necessary.

Lo spirito può essere pronto, ma il corpo e la voce a volte si fanno timide. Eppure, lo spirito desidera rompere il silenzio e parlare dal luogo più profondo del Live Wire dentro di noi.
Quali parole esprimono il tuo stato d’essere attuale?
Come si muove la voce dentro le forme del corpo?
E come respirano quelle forme fisiche?
In questo workshop, creeremo un palcoscenico per permettere allo spirito interiore di manifestarsi. Teatrale. Articolato.
Un linguaggio incarnato che espande il nostro potenziale creativo e apre la porta alle voci che abitano in noi, dando voce a tutto ciò che i nostri corpi hanno da offrire.
Live Wire è un’indagine teatrale rituale incarnata, radicata nelle mappe di movimento dei 5Ritmi®, devota alla natura mutevole dell’arte fisica, e guidata dalla visione di Lorca Simons, Gabrielle Roth e Martha Peabody.
