5RTA | April Teacher Spotlight

1998, my left side of the body was 0 out of 10 level paralyzed by stroke. It was shocking, at the same time my curiosity for the body was huge. I spent time facing my body for 8 months. For the first 4 months, I was in wheel chair and taking physical therapy. Slowly re-developing my nerve.

Notes on Practice: The Last Dance

“I’m going to share something with you. Almost exactly twelve years ago, I lost my wife.” He shares that this tragedy is what compelled him to step over the line into 5Rhythms. He goes on to say, “Hold nothing back. Just give it all you’ve got,” and “I invite you to dance, too, with those who are no longer with us.”
