Halfway through my summer in Europe, I am in awe as I witness how this tribe of moving healers is continuing to choose the creative over the destructive in every dance.
Our world is not going to heal itself on its own, and certainly not without each and every dancing soul starting with mending the soles of their own shoes, feet first.
It is easy to disagree on any day, and it is just as easy to love, honor, respect and see the other for who they are, exactly as is and at this moment, if we choose to. It is this unconditional love that bridges us towards unity, even when we don’t meet each other perfectly.
There is a celebration in being unique, in bringing our own authenticity into the conversation, in bringing this into the dance, the journey we are all together taking on this planet. The question is always, what are you dancing for?
Do you dance for freedom? for differences? for heartbreak?
Do you dance to let go? To find the pieces you left along the way?
In every situation, no matter what I’m dancing for, I choose to dance with love — to be love, rather than to be right.
It is with love that I can heal myself, heal others and join in the healing ripple of unity that could possibly, one day, heal this world.
These dances will be our offering to the bigger world. They will be our prayers for peace.
