Over the last two years i have loved dancing on zoom even though initially i was very resistant. I had a big old strop at having to share my passion with a computer screen instead of other real people. However, I discovered that alone in my living room I was able to feel my body, develop my dance and find exquisite moves that I had no access to before. Being alone made me so much more able to connect deeply and freely with myself and it became much more exciting. I dance because I enjoy it - its FUN!! which is why I will be transmitting a new FUN-key to you each week. That is a way of enjoying your life more by getting really into a certain area of your body and yourself and exploring how it can move around. I'm a craniosacral therapist so tracking inner body sensation is my 24/7 obsession, but its really so much easier on zoom, and i've discovered so much more.
In case youre wondering, I'm not always happy and often quite annoyed or scared, or simply stuck - but whenever I move my body to music I remember who I really am, and it just feels good. Come and dance your way out of the global gloom. Just show up and move with me... You'll be surprised what a difference it makes. That's my invitation.
