The Ego ShowA 5Rhythms dance and ritual theater workshop with healing potential.
Our ego characters are parts of us that tend to run the show. They once came on stage to protect us. We grow older and don’t need them so much any more, still, they keep finding their ways to appear. As we will probably never get totally rid of our ego characters we might as well give them a bit of air so they get less sticky and dominant.
We can see these characters as members of an orchestra constantly asking for attention by playing the same repetitive solos.
With a candle of attention we will dance into the cave of our psyche to bring light and find these parts of ourselves, feel how they move and notice what thoughts and emotions bring them onto the stage. Through this awareness we step into the centre of our being, our soul, where the conductor lives, directing all our different characters.

Taller de 5Ritmos y teatro ritual con potencial curativo.
Los personajes de nuestro ego son partes de nosotros que tienden a dirigir el espectáculo. Una vez subieron al escenario para protegernos. Envejecemos y ya no los necesitamos tanto, aún así, siguen encontrando la forma de aparecer.
Como probablemente nunca nos libraremos por completo de los personajes de nuestro ego, también podríamos darles un poco de aire para que se vuelvan menos pegajosos y dominantes.
Podemos ver a estos personajes como miembros de una orquesta que constantemente piden atención al tocar los mismos solos repetitivos.
Con una vela de atención bailaremos dentro de la cueva de nuestra psique para traer luz y encontrar estas partes de nosotros mismos, sentir cómo se mueven y notar qué pensamientos y emociones las traen al escenario. A través de esta conciencia entramos en el centro de nuestro ser, de nuestra alma, donde vive el director, dirigiendo todos nuestros diferentes personajes.
