DESCRIPTION
Dancing with the AncestorsIn this weekend workshop, which starts on All Saints Day, we will dance with our ancestry, which lives in our hearts, soul, collective memory, and DNA. We will call on the wisdom and medicine of our lineage, the power of ancestral lands, and the spirit of the animal clans to guide our dance on this journey.
We beckon our bloodlines, spirit animals, and sacred guides to help navigate a magical ancestral journey, weaving the 5rhythms with our ancestral lineage.
Together, we will honor, give thanks, and embody forgiveness and healing for ourselves, our ancestors, and the land. We’ll honor and celebrate by moving our bones, blood, and bodies—a gift from our ancestors.

About Sylvie Minot
Sylvie is a certified 5Rhythms® Teacher (Waves and Heartbeat level), trained by the founder Gabrielle Roth. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from San Jose State University and a Master's Degree in Theology specializing in Spirituality and Holistic Health. She is often described as a catalytic shape-shifter because of her ability to meet people right where they are and move with them into new possibilities.
With roots in Laotian, Vietnamese, and French heritage, Sylvie's journey of learning and growth extends far beyond the realm of dance. Her extensive studies include psychology, indigenous healing, energy medicine, and sound healing. Her inspirations are drawn from the teachings of cultural anthropologist Angeles Arrien, celebrated author Caroline Myss, and Peruvian sound healer Tito La Rosa.

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
