5Rhythms Fundamentals ~ with Elisa Hollenberg

You can attend either one or both mini-workshops. Each mini-workshop will have different content.

9:30am-12noon

(you can arrive at 9:15 if you like, to warm-up - the workshop will start at 9:30 a.m.)

Tuition: $20 - $35+ per workshop

2-workshop packages are available at a 10% discount. You can also buy a ticket for a single mini-workshop, or drop-in and pay at the door.

Mini-Workshop Description:

5Rhythms Fundamentals is a 2.5 hour mini-workshop with certified and accredited 5Rhythms teacher, Elisa Hollenberg.

We will explore the fundamentals of the 5Rhythms: Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness, and how each rhythm moves us. We will try out gateways to each rhythm, learn what helps us engage, what may stop us, and how we can connect with the breath, weight, body parts, momentum, centre, and more.

Important Ticket & Registration Info

To sign up for a single mini-workshop date, click a date, select your rate choice, and a ticket will be added to your cart.

To sign up for a 2-mini-workshop package for a 10% discount of the Sustainability, Supporting or Supported tiers, scroll down to the "Packages".

When you register at the Supporting or Generosity rate, a portion of your registration fee is applied toward another dancer's reduced-rate spot.

If a lower price will make the classes accessible for you, please register at the Supported or Access rate.

If you know you want to dance regularly, and these prices are a barrier for you, please email elisa.hollenberg@gmail.com for a possible work exchange or partial scholarship.

Drop-in: Pre-registration is not required. Drop-in dancers are welcome to pay cash at the door, provided we have not yet reached capacity. Please bring exact change. Drop-in tuition is $25-$35 at the door. Please note that there will not be Supported or Access tier single tickets available at the door, so if you would like one of these rates, please reserve in advance.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds. If you must cancel your attendance due to illness, you will be offered a class credit which can be applied towards a future class with Elisa. If you are unable to attend for other reasons, first please let us know so we may release your spot to another dancer. In the event that we are at capacity and we are able to fill your spot, you will be offered two options: you may donate your tuition to the scholarship fund, or you may receive a class credit which can be applied towards a future class with Elisa. No credits will be issued for no-shows, or if we have not reached capacity. To request a class credit, please email elisa.hollenberg@gmail.com

A Gabrielle Roth 5Rhythms Waves workshop is the foundation of the entire body of 5Rhythms work in which we expand our class work with a deepened physical expression and knowledge of the essential 5Rhythms and their polarities.
PREREQUISITES: No prerequisites required.
